Retreat Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to all Wine Wellness retreats, Seasonal, Couples, Music, and Private & Invitation-Only. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
Application and confirmation
Retreats are by application. Athena reads every application personally. A booking is confirmed when your deposit is received and we send a written confirmation. Until then, your dates are not held.
Deposit and final payment
A non-refundable deposit (as stated on the retreat page) secures your place. Final payment is due 60 days before the retreat begins. If we don’t receive final payment by that date, we may release your place.
Cancellations and refunds
Full refund up to 90 days before the retreat. 50% refund 60–90 days out. After 60 days, we hold the deposit unless we can fill your place.
We launch at a minimum of six. If we fall below, we refund in full or reschedule.
What’s included
The exact inclusions are listed on each retreat’s page , typically accommodation, meals and wine as described, tastings, excursions, and ground transport during the retreat. Flights and travel insurance are not included.
Travel and insurance
You’re responsible for your own travel to and from Tuscany and for your own valid travel insurance, which we require and strongly recommend covers medical care, trip interruption, and baggage.
Health, diet, and mobility
Tell us in the application about any allergies, dietary preferences, or mobility needs. Tuscan cooking accommodates naturally. Vegetable-forward, gluten-sensitive, no pork, no dairy, all work. You will not feel accommodated. You will feel fed.
Alcohol, age, and responsible consumption
Wine is served throughout every retreat. You must be of legal drinking age. We reserve the right to decline service where responsible consumption is not observed.
Conduct
A retreat is a shared table. We ask all guests to treat each other, our hosts, and the estate with care and respect. We reserve the right to end a guest’s participation, without refund, where behaviour materially disrupts the retreat or is unsafe.
Image and likeness
We may photograph or film during the retreat for editorial use. If you’d prefer not to appear, tell us at arrival and we’ll respect that throughout.
Force majeure
If a retreat is cancelled or materially changed due to events beyond our reasonable control (including natural disaster, strike, pandemic, or government restriction), we’ll offer a full credit to a future retreat or, where required by law, a refund.
